Biography:

Lee’s research focuses on a comprehensive investigation of how midlife family stress, such as financial hardship and marital distress, are implicated in later mental and physical health outcomes of adults, particularly in a longitudinal context. She investigates the long-term impacts of economic adversity on marriages and couples’ physical health consequences over 25 years and the proliferation of dyadic stress linking marital distress and physical health outcomes of mid-aged adults. She is also interested in the family transmission process of religiosity as a unique family resource and its impacts on family life.
