On November 3, 2011, Patricia Moore presented the Syracuse Seminar on Aging with a lecture titled “Quality of Life for All Ages, By Design.” Afterwards Janet Wilmoth, Director of the Syracuse University Aging Studies Institute, and Patricia Moore had a chance to talk about her path-breaking career, ability-based design, and aging in America. ASI Professor Douglas Wolf Participates in Webinar on Balancing Employment with Child and Elder Care

Douglas Wolf was one of three panelists on a December 13, 2011 Webinar entitled “Balancing Employment with Child and Elder Care: The Implications of Changing Workplaces and Families.” This webinar was organized by the Government and Public Affairs Committee of the Population Association of America (PAA). The Association of Population Centers (APC) and the PAA work together to educate policymakers about population research outcomes and the federal agencies that support population research. These objectives are achieved through the work of the APC/PAA Government and Public Affairs Committee (GPAC).
