Title: Emotional Functioning and Mental Health Across the Dementia Caregiving Experience

Bio: Jenna Wells is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. Dr. Wells received a Ph.D. in Clinical Science from the University of California, Berkeley and completed her predoctoral clinical internship in the Memory and Aging Center at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Wells’ research examines how emotion in close relationships shapes mental and physical health. Her work focuses on individuals caring for loved ones with neurodegenerative disease, identifying factors that influence caregivers’ vulnerability and resilience. She also studies positive interpersonal processes and their links to long-term health and well-being in individuals and dyads.
