Gerontology Interdisciplinary Minor
Current undergraduate students may enroll in a Minor in Gerontology, offered by the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. The goal of the program is to provide a multi-disciplinary perspective on aging issues. Students pursuing a minor in Gerontology complete courses focused on the intersection of aging issues, public policy, economics, and medicine.
Population Health and Aging, CAS
This graduate certificate of advanced study (CAS), offered by the Department of Sociology, provides matriculated graduate students with systematic, focused training in the area of population health and aging. The program will expose students to the key theoretical orientations and cutting-edge methodological training that lies at the nexus of medical sociology, social gerontology, and demography.
