Grant Description:
This project examined the role of brain astrocytic glycogen, glycogenolysis, and energy provision to neurons as a regulator of memory formation in rats. This project investigated the extent of initiation of astrocytic glycogenolysis as a function of task difficulty using working memory tasks.
